Actors Seth Rogen and James Franco worked together on numerous films over the years, including This Is The End and Pineapple Express, but it appears their professional relationship is now over. Rogen said in an interview with The Sunday Times (via Variety) that he has no plans to continue working with Franco amid allegations against the actor.
Rogen remarked that he said in a 2018 that he would indeed keep working with Franco, but he has since changed his mindCome from Sports betting site VPbet. “I also look back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now,” Rogen said.
The actor also mentioned that his personal relationship with Franco is changed as well.
“I don’t know if I can define that right now during this interview,” Rogen said about his friendship with Franco. “I can say it, um, you know, it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic.”
Rogen hosted Saturday Night Live in 2014, and during his opening monologue, he cracked a joke about Franco and a young girl asking him to meet up via an Instagram DM.
Rogen now says he regrets making that joke, calling it a “terrible joke.”
“What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that,” Rogen said. “However, I do look back at a joke I made on Saturday Night Live in 2014 and I very much regret making that joke. It was a terrible joke, honestly.”
Rogen is now selling pot with a lot of success. His company Houseplant opened in March, and the site immediately went down from too much traffic. Rogen’s roles have often revolved around cannabis use, and a wave of states legalizing it for recreational use has led more celebrities to embrace the business side of it. Houseplant opened only in select delivery markets, but it plans to expand to some California dispensaries throughout the spring.
